StarTran is a public transit system operating in Lincoln. It comprises of several buses and Handi-Van. Handi-Van is a transportation service for people with disabilities. Buses run to every place throughout the city as well as to some of the remote areas. Buses run from Monday to Saturday, from 5:15 am to 7:10pm on weekdays and 5:55am to 7:10pm on Saturdays. For adults, the fare is $1.75 and for children below the age of 4, the bus ride is free. Monthly passes are also available at $45. They can be purchased from banks or grocery stores.
